Woodstock Negril – Beach Vibes, Fresh Seafood, and Live Music

Right on Negril’s world-famous Seven Mile Beach, Woodstock is everything you could want from a beach bar and grill in Jamaica — great food, great drinks, laid-back energy, and music that keeps the mood going all day and into the night.

The menu covers all the bases with a combination of Jamaican staples and crowd-pleasing favourites. Jerk chicken, steamed conch, oxtail, goat, fresh lobster, seafood platters, burgers, fish wraps, and tacos are all well-represented. The lobster shack section of the menu is particularly popular, offering lobster prepared any number of ways — grilled, curried, garlic butter, in pasta, and more. Breakfast is also served, with a barista-style coffee menu for early risers who want to catch the beach at its quietest.

The drinks list is extensive. At least nine different rums, a full cocktail selection including rum punch, piña coladas, daiquiris, and planter’s punch, plus cold Red Stripe on tap make it easy to settle in and stay awhile.

Live reggae Thursdays and karaoke on other nights mean there’s always something happening, and the easy-going atmosphere draws a mix of tourists and locals who all seem happy to be there. The staff are warm and attentive without being intrusive.

Woodstock captures the essence of Negril — unhurried, beautiful, and completely welcoming.
